Scalpay, Longay and Pabay

... are all in the Inner Sound, which separates Skye from the mainland. Scalpay, with an area of about 9.6 square miles, is much the largest of them; the smallest, Longay, is just over a kilometre across in its broadest dimension.

Scalpay had a population of ten "usual residents" in 2001, but only four in 2011. Pabay has one house (population unknown); Longay is uninhabited.

The largest island in the Inner Sound is Raasay, which lies to the north-west of the three islands in question.
